Kumi Taylor

I found a passion for massage when a friend of mine was in massage school and she asked me if she could practice some techniques on me. Enthusiastically, I agreed and was amazed at all the benefits I felt from just one session. I knew I wanted to do something that would involve helping others and so I decided to embark on a journey of becoming a massage therapist. In 2003, I graduated from Hands-On Approach in Dallas.

I have worked in many different atmospheres, a salon/spa, chiropractic, corporate businesses, hotels, sporting events, and in homes. Over the past 20+ years, I have taken courses and workshops for deep tissue massage, shiatsu, Ashiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Hot/Cold stone therapy, Reiki, Cupping therapy, and Traditional Thai massage.

After a move to the Cedar Creek area, I decided to launch my own solo career in 2016. I'm thrilled to be of service to the local residents and visitors alike. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

In 2016, I began my massage therapy education at The Texas Center For Massage Therapy in Richardson, TX. As I progressed through the program, I developed a profound respect for the diverse benefits of massage on our physical and mental health. Upon completing my education and embarking on my career, I became convinced that I had discovered my true calling. The ability to positively impact my clients' lives and provide a temporary escape from their daily routines has been, and continues to be, incredibly rewarding. Throughout my eight-year career as a massage therapist, I have worked at four spas and one chiropractic office. I have held certification as a Prenatal Massage Therapist for seven years and have expanded my expertise through various continuing education courses, including hot and cold stone therapy, deep tissue massage, reflexology, and cupping therapy. I am deeply passionate about my profession and prioritize delivering exceptional massage experiences to each client. Massage is not merely a luxury, but a means to achieve a healthier, happier life.
